Layline Farm is an equine facility that was developed in November of 2005. We are located just north of Kalamazoo in Plainwell on 33 beautiful acres. While much of the area is fenced in we left the perimeter of the entire field to be used for riding. The stable, riding arena, and entire facility is over 1,000 feet back from the main road.
We understand that your horse may have special needs. Whether that be a low protein diet or low sugar/carbohydrate diet we are willing to accommodate and offer many different types of Purina Mills grain.
My background— I have been working with horses for over 20 years. While in college I started a farm “sitting” business to take care of horses, dogs, etc while owners went out of town. My primary discipline of riding is Hunter/Jumpers and dressage, however, my QH, Lucy has provided me the opportunity to relax and enjoy trail rides as well. I am able to provide lessons as well as work with your horse if you would like assistance. My philosophy with riding and training has always been to make it a positive experience for both rider AND horse. In doing so you have a willing horse and willing rider. Short cuts are never taken with riding and training.
